What is Truth?

Once Truth was that we were all riding on the back of a turtle through space.
Sometime after that the earth was flat and the sun, moon and stars circled around us.

Now, if you are educated in the Western world through High School and College you believe
something quite different than the above to versions of Truth.

But, in the future what we presently believe is the Truth will be looked upon just like we presently look upon the first two statements of historical truth.

The truth is constantly changing by what people choose to believe. Does a son or daughter believe exactly what the parents believe?

Not if you live in the western world.

However, if you grow up in the Islamic World if you don't believe exactly what your mother and father believe you could or would be killed for your disbelief and this is often enforced by the father figures of any family.

So, in the Islamic world to be a free thinker might be your death.

However, to me, being a free thinker is life itself.

Because truth is constantly evolving. It is not just one thing.

As more information becomes known we must learn to accept new and more useful truths than our parents did. To deny evolution of our minds and souls is to constrict and to die as beings.

Only by pursuing the truth wherever it leads us can be ever be whole. To limit truth through ignorance will only eventually cause the extinction of the human race on Earth much like it did on the Asteroid Belt Planet 65 million years ago during a nuclear war likely by our ancestors.

So, what is truth?

It is whatever you believe it is until you find more information and believe something else.

Truth used to be that we are riding through space on the back of a turtle. What is it now?
