I went to my dermatologist today. I realized the title was a little weird just now too. But, she found a lot of things to freeze too. So, she froze a lot of things on my skin various places because they were potential precancerous Squamish or basil cells various places. I was wondering why I was feeling really crappy a couple of hours later. And then I realized that I had felt sort of sick other times when a lot so stuff had been frozen off too.
If you have never been to a dermatologist before this is often what they do if you don't have cancerous stuff but only precancerous stuff. They freeze it off before it turns into something else. It sort of hurts when they freeze stuff in various parts of your body and basically the skin turns dark and falls off within the week from frostbite. Since your skin covering your body is an organ (the largest organ of a human body) it doesn't like when this happens so you feel a little bit ill as your body tries to recover from little frostbites all over.
But, it's nice to have skin frozen off before it becomes a real problem later.
Many or most of you might think the only skin cancer is melanoma. Though my aunt died of a melanoma I have never had one but instead have had many squamish cell and basil cell carcinomas since 1995. So, when my aunt died of a melanoma that went into her intestines from her forearm my mother and I started seeing a dermatologist at least every 3 to 6 months every since and he immediately cut out the skin on the right side of my nose which made me look at first like I had had plastic surgery on the right side of my face for a long time. But, that was the worst cancer I had to get rid of along with some on my back. But, the thing to remember is that you only have a 5% chance of it metastasizing and killing you with a Squamish cell or a Basil Cell. However, with a melanoma it is very likely if you don't address it you will be dead within 6 months. So, if you do have a melanoma and don't address it just expect to be dead from it metastasizing within 6 months and killing you. Once it metastasizes often there is nothing you can do to save yourself mainly because you don't know where it moved to.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
