The ISIS Mafia

The problem with ISIS is it is both Mafia like (it doesn't mind killing anyone who isn't a Sunni Muslim) and sometimes kills Sunni Muslims too if they aren't extreme enough in their ideology. The problem is that when you combine the way a Mafia functions with a suicide cult where people are happy to die all sorts of ways and where even children are given Xanax and told to go blow themselves up while high on this Amnesic (so kids think they are dreaming and not awake perceptually) you have a real mess.

Then when you add to this the way they finance themselves through extortion, kidnapping, murder, taxation, oil, drugs, and historical national treasures as well as human organs harvested from those they behead you then have a really financially successful thing that does not resemble a country so much as a suicidal mafia that is running now roughshod over much of the middle East, Libya, Africa and hopefully not soon through Libya into Europe.

Also, no European, American, Canadian, Russian or other army of a western nation wants to see their soldiers on youtube.com or another source, beheaded, tortured, limbs cut off, screaming etc. so likely you are not going to see western Armies confronting ISIS. More likely you will see navies of these nations blowing out of the water people in boats escaping from Libya before ISIS people get in the middle of these people escaping to cause unending havoc in Europe.

And in a much lesser sense this would make the U.S. and Canada much more dangerous places to be as well if any ISIS converts got through with the boat people coming from LIbya to Italy and other European places.

So, I think European and U.S. and Canadian Strategy likely will be to contain somehow ISIS to the Middle East.
