What happens when extreme things happen to you that you didn't expect and never prepared for?

Well, first of all you are not bored.

Instead it is sort of: "This isn't boring but I might die in the process of all this!"

So, the first thing you do is to realize that if you don't stay very level headed you might die.

When I confront stuff like this I usually calm right down whether it is a stranger, or a friend, a relative or myself. Being very focused and calm and ready for anything is the important thing if you want to survive whatever it is. This level of focus has to remain whenever you are awake until you are out the other side of whatever this is by the way.

And in my case to some degree I'm still dealing with the after affects of march 27th 2015.

For example, I found out from my doctor I have a blood clot in my right leg. This is the first time in my whole life that something like this has happened. However, after an operation like the one I just had I have heard of other people having this particular complication too. It is one of the less dangerous things that can happen, for example.

So, first of all, you are not bored. But, you likely won't be able to work, go to school, or anything else you normally do either. Because if you do any of those things likely you will die.

So, learning to prioritize in emergencies is a kind of survival triage we all have to learn, otherwise we are all just dead and that's all.
