It is important to understand this about Russia. It is also important to know that Putin considers Sunnis in Saudi Arabia one of the main causes for Russian collapse as the Soviet Union which he loved as a KGB agent in East Germany as a Colonel then. In fact, he still considers Saudi Arabia the main cause of low oil prices and is pretty upset about it. So, one reason he went into Syria like this to kill all Sunnis (rebels and ISIS etc) is to spit in Saudi Arabia and all other Sunni nations faces. But also, this is a thorn in the side of all Sunni Muslims in Russia to for example in Chechnya where Putin right now is trying to wipe out all Chechen Soldiers fighting as ISIS soldiers and officers right now in Syria.
And then, paradoxically in all this since ISIS plans to end all Sunni Governments in the Middle East, end the U.S. , end NATO there is the other side of this that likely the Russian Army is being secretly "Bought" to end ISIS because the one two punch of Russian air strikes and Iranian army combined with Hezbollah are actually the army on the ground now wiping out ISIS after Clusterbombs and missiles hit ISIS and Sunni Rebel areas now. So, as rebels and ISIS dig out from many deaths from bombings they are systematically attacked on the ground now by IRanian Army troops and Hezbollah from Lebanon.
The world needs ISIS gone so it will be gone along with all sexual slaves, fighters and women and children accompanying it likely in the next months and years ongoing because of this at least in Syria.
However, this does not end injustices to Sunnis in Syria so something worse will likely arise over time to address these ongoing injustices to Sunnis in Syria for at least the last 5 years or so.
So, I think the world needs to now prepare for this outcome too even if ISIS is completely wiped out in Syria and eventually in Iraq as well.
