LIsten to your body

Often if you learn to listen to your own body it will tell you what you actually need. So, if you become good at this listening to your body is actually more important than listening to your doctor.

Your doctor does not live in your body and what he is taught in school is very general because you are unique from all other bodies in the end. Yes. there are some similarities but if you don't allow for the differences it could cause you an untimely death or other problems.

It's not that your doctor wants to harm you it's that the diversity among people is much greater than your doctor wants to tell you. So, what is good for one person isn't necessarily good for another person. If we were all the same people with the same illness wouldn't die on the same drug with the same illness like many people do, while others thrive for 20, 50 years on the same medicines.

So, understanding our own uniqueness is one way to stay alive through all of this. One way to stay alive is to not take any medicines that you don't absolutely need, even pain killers.

We all have to be smart about this sort of thing of course but just remember pain killers will generally reduce your quality of life over time. In the end all painkillers are poison not strong enough to kill you right then. So, they slowly kill you instead. All medicines should be seen this way and so all medicines should be minimized in order to lengthen your lives.

Good food, exercise and clean air and water are actually the best medicines for everyone. So, finding a place with clean air and water where you can mentally and physically cleanse your self and spiritually cleanse yourself might be the most important thing for you even over any medicines.
