This is my thought.
So, though theoretically you want men and women to have equal rights, they are not the same at all.
So, the way people have tried to go about equality between men and women always seemed wrong somehow.
Because it is like saying "Apples and Oranges are equal."
Some people like apples and some people like oranges and some people like both.
But, apples and oranges are not the same unless you are saying they are both fruit.
apples have a thin skin and a white meat and oranges have a thick skin and a juicy fruit.
They are not the same and neither are mangoes and papayas by the way.
So, saying men and women were equal I always thought was a mistake to teach them to think this way because they are not equal they are not the same.
Should women ahve equal rights? Yes. But, it likely means something different than most people think. It means they have an equal right to vote and an equal right to a job and the right to have equal protection under the law.
But, it doesn't mean they think the same way, it doesn't mean they act the same way, it doesn't mean they talk the same way, it doesn't mean they are interested in the same things necessarily.
So, I'm fine with "Men and women are equal in rights but completely different in every single way.
I see men and women as different as two different species of domesticated animals in the end.
But, there really isn't any way to compare them at all.
But, do they both deserve equal rights? Of Course!
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
