Forrest didn't have the best IQ rating but what he did have was a good mother who he listened to who was willing to sleep with the School principal to get him into school even though his IQ was too low for that otherwise.
His mother had his back always and he knew he loved unconditionally his mother and his childhood girl friend who stood by him from the first moment they met on a school bus.
He stood by his mother, his girl friend from childhood and then his son no matter what.
And that was enough.
Was his life perfect?
No one's life actually is.
That's the point.
If you have good intuition and instincts and common sense and you treat people with kindness often you wind up with everything good in your life.
It doesn't matter how intelligent you are because without common sense, intuition and good instincts you wont' be around long anyway.
It isn't intelligence that gets you through life it is mostly just common sense, kindness, Intuition and instinct.
Without these things we all tend to be dead or maimed before out times.
This is my observation after almost 70 years here on earth.
So, it is important in life not to necessarily lead with your intelligence because that doesn't keep you alive (even though it also helps if applied correctly).
What keeps you alive is common sense, Instinct and intuition and kindness to yourselves and others.
You can call it God or Jesus or Buddha or whatever you want to, but without kindness to yourselves and others, instinct, intuition, and common sense we all tend to be dead or maimed before our times.
