Terminator (1984)

 Children born in 1984 are all around 34 years of age. You know how some movies just don't hold up to scrutiny after 30 years or so? Terminator still punches you in the gut with the truth in a way that is still spellbinding much like Star Wars made in 1977. There is so much truth in it that you either want to throw up or try to make sure nothing like this is ever invented to kill mankind non-stop at some point in the near or far future.

So, if you haven't seen this movie before and you like plausible science fiction you should see the original one that started this whole thing off. I'm watching it right nowand it's really amazing how well it still holds up after all these years sort of in the same way Star Wars does. Both really excellent movies.
