I'm 70 and women my age fought for women's rights too. So, think about this for a moment. Many women my age have been fighting non-stop for women's rights since the early 1960s as teenagers. But, they are no longer idealistic and see just how hard the fight has been and what has been gained and also what has been lost since Trump was elected.
Then you have younger women in their teens and 20s who are likely sort of confused about the mixed messages they see in life. One message in Movies and entertainment is "A Woman or women can do anything they put their minds to." However, the reality is much different in some ways than "A woman or women can do almost anything". In other words all change and progress is very hard to come by (especially if Kavanaugh becomes a Supreme court justice) with obvious misogynistic or (anti-women) tendencies.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
