However, it might just work what he did to put Kavanaugh (for better or worse) into the Supreme Court. No one ever accused Graham of not being very intelligent and strategic. But, now his friend McCain is gone the territory has changed a lot. So, I think he was playing to Trump so Trump would put him in as the next Attorney General. This is what this is actually about more than anything else. Also, I think the worst things I personally have seen in the Senate is the nuclear option by Reid (a democrat) in 2013 and the supreme Court nuclear option by McConnell recently which makes our democracy not functioning as is should (either one).
So, we are watching our democracy slowly go away into a fascist state through the efforts of Putin and Trump now. I'm sorry Graham, (McCain's friend) is sucked into this mess. If McCain was alive I'm sure all this might have turned out much differently now. No one in the Republican party is standing up to Trump (or his boss) Putin.
However, it is obvious that the Kavanaugh Scandal (just like the ongoing everpresent Trump Scandal) might be never ending in an ongoing torture for our nation and world to endure.
Especially, if and when Kavanaugh is arrested for sexual assault on Ford because there is no statute of limitations where this happened in reality. 36 years doesn't matter and their ages then doesn't matter either. So, it is likely we may see Kavanaugh sent to jail for sexual assault as a supreme court justice here at some point in the future.
