The character in Project Bluebook, J. Allen Hynek was a real person. I believe I met him in 1969 when I was 21 at Giant Rock Airport during a UFO Fly-In where private pilots flew in there from all over the world for this UFO conference then. He was one of the speakers there on a microphone so everyone could hear him. I'm thinking it was Maybe October 1969 or September in the desert there. Also, my father and I were building a retirement home for my mother and Dad so it was nearby Yucca Mesa where they were building a home to retire in then in 1969 as well. So, my father and my friends and his friends would often drive out there to help him build his retirement home then between 1968 and 1980 on weekends when he and Mom retired there to Yucca Mesa above Yucca Valley, California They retired there in 1980. I also met several of the pilots that flew into this UFO conference then as well. Van Tassel who put this on was a known UFO contactee then and famous all over the world then. Eventually, my father and I bought an old Rock Crusher from him for our mining company in 20 Palms and Arizona then around 1975. It was old but indestructible. It could crush gold ore rocks up to 1 to 2 feet in diameter. But, you had to stand way back from it so you didn't die. The first time we put an electric motor and belt on it it was really dangerous. Eventually we built a 25 to 50 foot cord with an on-off switch so no one would die when we turned it on from flying rocks when we started up the100 horse power electric motor at our mill in 20 Palms. Van Tassel toured us through his Integratron then in 1975 when we bought the jaw crusher. He used no nails in the construction of this dome. He said it was designed by UFOs for special purposes. It's location is Landers near by where Giant Rock Airport used to be.
