Now, likely you have heard this before. But, since he only has a few days before he breaks Gingrich and Bill Clinton's record for a Government shutdown I think it is very likely that this is what he is going to do.
Is this a good idea?
I think: NO!
Why?
Because it sets a dangerous precedent for Trump to do this on a whim.
Declaring an emergency should be for something that is actually an emergency not just the whim of someone with a big ego that needs to be stroked.
Because what if he declares an emergency the next time someone says something he doesn't like and he decides he needs to publicly execute them without a trial? Like Hitler?
