I don't think they all stayed because unless they were a hybrid they likely wouldn't have done well on earth because of different bacteria and viruses than where they were from. But a hybrid that likely would be a cross between a humanoid from another planet and some kind of larger ape likely could and did survive as us. We were likely genetically engineered to serve those who came at first to escape the nuking of their planet out of existence. So, the likely ones who made it here would have been related to the leadership and militaries on the planet Maldek which is now our asteroid belt out past Mars.
You might ask, "Why didn't we continue to have space travel?"
I'm thinking that we did have space travel until either Lemuria or Atlantis but then when Global Warming washed away Atlantis (sort of the way Florida likely will one day wash completely away in a storm from the Atlantic) too many professors and scientists died to keep space travel going after that. This is what I'm thinking. You have to have a scientific infrastructure and you need certain kinds of technologies and factories. And if all those people suddenly die because you are guarding it all in one place then something like space travel is gone because no one alive knows how to build something like that anymore (or even if they do) all tools to create all this have been washed away under the sea.
That's why it is presently good that so many countries now understand how to do space travel that if any one of them is lost through global warming there still will be other countries that can still go into space. So we don't have the same problem we did with Atlantis where space travel was lost somewhere between 10,000 and 15,000 years here on earth.
Why didn't other planets with our relatives on them come give us space travel again?
Possibly because we had a war with them and they didn't want to fight us anymore? So, we have sort of been groveling in the dust since Atlantis here on earth?
