I think today is the all time record (so far) for proven coronavirus deaths in the U.S. for one day so far. This took us to 25,756 deaths so far of proven tested positive Coronavirus patients around the U.S.
As deaths are dropping in numbers slowly in New York State they are increasing in other states like New Jersey and Michigan and Louisiana and a few other states which is why the death rate today is a record.
However, where I live in California there appear to be no new deaths today.
