Up to 40 inches of snow in the Sierras this weekend especially Sunday
The rain starts tomorrow but doesn't really get going until Sunday. We expect 1 1/2 inches to 2 inches of rain throughout the area and up to 40 inches of snow in the Sierras. It's a lot of rain to get here this time of year but then again we really need it to make it through the summer and into fall and and the next rainy season here in California. Last year we had more rain in May than in the last 100 to 200 years here in California by the way.
