Following guidance from the White House, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and state and local public health authorities, Grand Teton National Park will reopen on a limited basis on Monday, May 18 at noon.

Public Use Limits and Closures

This closure is necessary for maintenance of public health and safety and the protection of natural or cultural resources.

Park Waters Are Closed

All park waters are closed until park AIS check stations open. Fishing is allowed along lakeshores and riverbanks. Pack it in, pack it out.

Backcountry Camping is Not Allowed at this Time

Backcountry camping is not allowed in the park at this time. Permits are anticipated to be available in June. Day hiking is allowed. Be prepared for wet and snowy trail conditions. Pack it in, pack it out.
