I was just watching Friday's Rachel Maddow Show on Coronavirus outbreaks in churches across the U.S.

In most of the churches like in Texas and Minnesota that she talked about the ministers or priests had gotten infected and some had died. So, the people going to that church were very very vulnerable, especially when Texas opened up all their churches like they did recently. Catholic Bishops in Minnesota decided to open up their parishes against the will of the Governor and two parishes had to close down simply because too many people (both priests and parishioners) became infected and one priest died. So, opening churches is beginning to be a complete disaster for states as people become infected there in droves nationwide.

Outside of a subway I can think of no other place the Coronavirus would rather kill people and infect people than in a church because of the intimate surroundings in all churches the way people greet each other and give sacrament to one another. So, this is an ongoing problem and many churchgoers likely will die from this in the coming months and years because of the virulence of this particular virus.

I suppose in the long run this might change here on earth how people worship (at least until the next pandemic hits earth).
