So, this is talking about people dying mostly from the beginning of September until Early October in the next big wave of deaths expected.
This actually happened with 100,000 deaths in September and October of 1918 by the way. So, I guess they are expecting somewhat of a repeat of this at a three times population density that we had in 1918.
This is one of the reasons why I advocate people planting victory gardens now so they have vegetables and fruit if possible to withstand these times when it's possible that food supply chains and anything supply chains might break down worldwide in the northern Hemisphere during these times.
So, it's a good idea to stock up on non-perishables now so you have enough food to make it through potential supply chain disruptions from 170,000 people dying in a little over a month.
The total dead in the 1918 flu was 675,000 people from January 1918 until 1920 so if you allow for 3 times the population now it could be as high as the figure below between January 2020 and May of 2022:
