Believing in something even if it is in yourself might help you survive the next few years here on earth

I have spiritual practices that help me a lot I know make it through every single day. Having your disciplines (even if it is getting up and turning on the TV watching the news) helps a person have some order in this era of complete chaos worldwide with people dying all over the place.

One of the things that occurs to me is how we have to let go of our abhorrence of death to get through all this. You have to find a way to release all the people dying worldwide now to their greatest good whether you believe in God or a higher power or not. Otherwise, it's just going to eat you up and that's all.

So, letting all those dying go is important for your long term psychological survival. I know it's a little different if it is a close relative, lover or spouse. But, all we can do is our best now.

Believing in something and having some order to your lives even if you aren't working is part of what will keep you alive and sane. Think about what will give you some sort of discipline or order so your mind doesn't just unravel completely through all of this worldwide.

Viewing the world at war might be useful. But, in this war all you can do is to blame God or nature because you don't have any one person to blame for the virus (at least yet) worldwide for sure.

So, in this war you are trying to keep your family and friends and yourself alive, (especially for at leat the next year or so).

This is a long term war by the way so we might be dealing with some version of this for the next 10 years from what Fauci is saying regarding herd immunity.

So, creating a discipline where you can better deal with mass death is likely going to be a long term affair for all of us worldwide.

Finding a way to laugh at some point at the insanity of it all might be helpful too.

American soldiers have always been known for their Black humor (which means the ability to laugh at death no matter how horrific it is in soldier's lives).

Americans often survive wars better than soldiers from other nations because of this type of humor.

It's better to laugh rather than go insane or die of cancer by repressing your feelings by the way.

So, if you can believe in something Good you will do much better in trying to survive all this.

By God's Grace
