Was it a nuke? Was it a volcano going off? Was it really bad fires for way too long? Yes to the last one but between coronavirus and the apocalyptic skies everyone is just a little bit spooked at this point of about 1 month of varying degrees of smoke.
Today where I was on the coast it had drizzled all night so my deck was wet which would likely bring down any ashes close enough to the ground in the clouds which was good. But, when I went outside this morning you couldn't smell smoke at all because it was obviously all above the clouds so this made everything sort of the last gasp of day before night all day long which is really eerie like during a full eclipse of the sun or something like this. Only this time it wasn't a few minutes, it was all day long. So, at 6:30 pm tonight I thought the sun had set outside already but then I went outside and looked at my smartphone and realized the sun wasn't going to set until 50 minutes later and that was eerie too because it was basically dark already with the orange brown light glow seeming like it was already dark. Very strange! Everyone had their headlights on by 4 pm coming back from the doctors and everyone I talked to today was spooked by this as well to one degree or another.
