It's sort of like standing or walking along a cement wall at the top of a cliff when people do this to demonstrate how macho they are and sometimes they succeed and sometimes they die by falling off the cement wall and down the cliff to their deaths.
However, it is also a part of living in denial of basic truths as if they were riding a motorcycle at 100 miles per hour anywhere without a helmet. So, walking around people without a mask is sort of like riding a motorcycle at 100 miles per hour without a helmet. With a helmet you might survive under some conditions. But, without a helmet at 100 miles per hour if you crash you have literally no chance of survival at all unless it is by some miracle.
There is a true story out of world war II that reminds me of this by the way. There was I believe it might have been the captain of a U.S. bomber over europe and his parachute was on fire because his plane was on fire and going down. He had already had the rest of the crew bail out and because his parachute had already burned off him he didn't have a parachute. So, he had a choice of jumping and dying or burning to death on the plane. most people would have chosen what he chose because burning to death is extremely painful.
So, he jumped and believed he was going to die but he didn't!
What happened to him?
He fell through the air about 4 to 5 thousand feet or more and hit the side of a tree and knocked off all the limbs of that tree going down and landed in a snow drift and his leg was broken but he survived the war and came home to the U.S. after the war was over.
Not wearing a mask is sort of like this man falling without a parachute. Yes. He lived but he was one in a million.
Your mask is your parachute so you can survive this coronavirus epidemic and pandemic worldwide.
