There are presently no fires west of 211 in Oregon which is good

The one fire west of 211 appears to have been put out overnight. I'm using zoom.earth to share this with you. There are no fires west of 213 so Salem doesn't seem to be in danger at least for now either.

The largest group of fires seems to be in the vicinity of Otalie Butte area of Oregon and another grouping of Fires around the base of Mt. Jefferson. The fires around Estacata seem to be getting put out too. So, since the strategic fires nearest to small towns are getting knocked down I think the firefighters are getting more control of these fires even though the air is still really bad in Northern Oregon. Some say it is the worst on earth right now. My son at work said he had a headache from breathing the stuff yesterday and was trying very hard to still be nice to people because of his smoke headache. I think a lot of people are having trouble breathing the smoke in Oregon, California and Washington and other western states. The smoke is now hundreds of miles out to sea as well into the Pacific Ocean as well.
