Spiritual but not religious

Many people assume that all people who believe in God go to church but this isn't true.

Most people in the U.S. believe in God but most don't go to church and I'm like this too.

For me, it's not that I would never go to church it's that mostly I don't find it useful to go to church simply because churches are more about money than anything else in reality. In other words they are mostly there to get money from people who go to church and little else.

However, many people use churches as a way to meet people, get married and for their social lives around the world. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that any of them actually believe in God at all. It's just a way to have a social life and to meet their mates. This is quite common I find among people who go to church.

When I was young and growing up in a church I believed that everyone in that church believed all the tenets of that church. I was wrong. Most people believe in nothing at all I found or they pretend to believe in things that they don't really.

So, the most spiritual believers I meet actually don't go to church because they see churches as an impediment to having a real relationship with God. I also agree with this.

How can you have a personal relationship with the divine when someone else is telling you to give them money or whatever?

It would be sort of like having a minister in bed with you and your mate. It's unseemly.

So, this is the problem of churches from my point of view. It's incestuous to go to church because the minister gets in bed between you and God and it's incestuous!

People need their own personal relationship with God. Without that, most people are lost and could die at any moment because they aren't safe.

So, if you trust someone to go between you and God you are vulnerable to all their potential problems and this could cause your relationships to end and all sorts of problems can arise.

But, if your relationship with God is just between you and God and the angels, I find this is much safer and you are more likely to survive whatever comes.

However, there is something to be said for the social part of a church as an extended family.

But, all that is a very tricky business sort of like trying to stay married to the wrong person too.

So, each person has to find their own way to God and in life always.

And Churches are generally not safe for vulnerable people because in churches also hide molesters of all kinds. Churches are often full of child molesters and girl molesters of every age.

So, trying to protect yourself in a church is very difficult for most people from people saying one thing and doing another.

Churches tend to be unsafe in general unless a person is very wise and this is rare.
