Compassion is the key to both Enlightenment and Civilization itself: Why?

Most of what happens as a human being on earth is about what you believe.

For example, if you believed your legs and arms and hands didn't work where would you be? You couldn't eat. (unless someone else fed you) You couldn't walk (unless someone gave you a wheelchair and pushed you. (You couldn't write) unless someone else wrote for you while you spoke what you wanted to them.

So, everything that happens to human beings they must first believe that they can do this (whatever it is).

As an intuitive I meet people all the time who don't believe they can do anything and so they can't (do anything).

It's like some people's lives are over before they begin.

And other people you can meet fly planes, surf 50 to 100 foot waves, travel the world, meet all sorts of people. And some people's lives are over before they begin.

What really is the difference between people who do everything and people who never get started in their lives?

Usually, the difference is ONLY in their minds eye of what they believe is possible.

It's true that one must have ears and eyes and a brain that works and workable hands and feet and legs and arms to do most things in life. But, once you have these things it's all about believing in yourself (or God) so you can actually do the things you want to.

You never know just how far you go until you try. But, many people don't even try because they don't believe that they can succeed at anything.

So, the main difference between someone who has compassion and enlightenment is about belief in the first place because belief is how compassion and enlightenment and civilization itself is born in each person every single day they choose to wake up and live their lives.

What do you believe in?

Do you believe in compassion for yourselves or others? Do you believe in enlightenment for yourselves and others? Do you believe in civilization for yourselves and others?

What do you believe in? Yourselves? Others? God? Buddha?

What do you believe in?

If you believe in nothing not even yourselves then that is what you will always have. Nothing!

what do you believe in?

What you believe in always decides your fate in life.
