"There are no monsters! Beings do what needs to be done to survive". What do you think of this statement?

 The Resident Alien "Harry" who  is mimicking the body of a doctor he killed says this at one point during the series.

I think this is basically true as long as the being isn't bat shit crazy. It's basically true of all beings. They mostly are just trying to survive in whatever situations they find themselves in.

They might believe something entirely different is going on than what is actually happening from your point of view but this is basically true of all sane beings in the universe.
