I agree that the government can say that everyone in the military and in government be vaccinated. I agree that companies can mandate everyone who works for them get vaccinated.
However, I disagree even with friends who say that everyone in the U.S. should be forced to get vaccinated. People need to have the right to say no to vaccinations so we don't have a civil war or revolution over this. I had an argument with a friend on the phone about this today. I told him that I don't like seat belts myself and that I just wear them not to get any more tickets for not wearing a seat belt. I believed then in the 1989 I believe when it became law that you had to wear a seat belt that wearing a seat belt might cause me to have an accident just through the bad luck of wearing one. On one level I have gotten over that just so I didn't have to pay any more seat belt tickets after I got on on Maui and one in California around 1989 or 1990. I lived on Maui then before I moved back to California with my family.
I have watched videos of women pulling each other's hair out at the airport over who wears a mask and who doesn't want to wear a mask. If you force everyone to get a vaccine you are going to have people not just fighting but also shooting each other here in the U.S.
It's one thing for a government or a company to say: "Get a vaccine or work somewhere else". It's quite another thing to say: "Get a vaccine or you cannot live in the U.S."
This is only going to cause people to die and nothing else.
As long as people are free to quit their jobs if they don't get a vaccine I think it will be okay. But, if you force everyone to get a vaccine you will have blood running in the streets here in the U.S. like during the Civil War. It's just the way some Americans are. You just won't get away with it without people being shot or knifed or beat up. We have to be realistic about just how violent some Americans will get if you mandate shots.
Also, here's the thing. Even if everyone in the U.S. was forced to get a vaccine in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand and some other places you are still going to get variants coming out of places like South America (the Lambda variant right now for example), Asia (The Delta and Delta Plus out of India), And out of Africa you hav the south African Variant. And last year you have the UK Variant out of Europe. And I believe there was also a couple of U.S. variants too worldwide.
So, no matter who you vaccinated in the U.S., Canada, Europe or other developed countries, poorer countries are still going to create more variants and everyone will also get screwed by them eventually anyway.
So, there is really no reason to have blood in the streets from mandating that everyone get vaccinated is there?
Because you CANNOT vaccinate everyone on earth the way governments are presently on earth!
And as long as you cannot vaccinate everyone more variants are going to occur.
