Right now on the Weather map Everything north of San Francisco to Redding is getting nailed

Which on one level might be a really good thing some places that are completely out of water in their reservoirs but other places where fires have burned recently houses might wash away from water, mud and rocks coming down from higher altitudes. So, everyone is sort of holding their breaths to see how much rain will help some places and how many people's lives will be completely destroyed during the next 24 to 48 hours.

The storm looks really angry from about Chico to Redding right now.

They expect up to 4 feet of snow from this one Atmospheric River Storm in the High Sierras by Tuesday.

Mount Shasta I know has at least 1 foot of snow at around 7000 feet and 2 to 3 feet of snow already at around 10,000 feet. So, you have to imagine 4 feet of snow on top of this likely to see what might happen by Tuesday.
