He said that the snow level Friday Afternoon was about 7000 feet on all mountains surrounding Mt. Shasta including Mt. Shasta. He said that the snow at Panther Meadows was about 10 inches to a foot deep there and maybe the same on Mt. Eddy which is towards the ocean from the little city of Mt. Shasta and on the opposite side of the Valley as Mt. Shasta. Another friend said it was raining hard in the McCloud area of Mt. Shasta on Thursday as I drove south to Santa Barbara.
As I write this there is sporadic snow falling from Ukiah, California to Twin Falls, Idaho to Eugene Oregon right now which is about 11:30 pm Friday night Pacific Daylight time October 22nd 2021.
