Because what he wanted Mitch McConnell to do would have done exactly that. Good for old Mitch McConnell for standing up to an idiot ex-president.
Because raising the debt ceiling to pay for 97% of Trump's boondoggles was the only logical thing McConnell could do. Anything else would have been suicide for the U.S. and world economy!
Trump's nuts! I think the sooner people realize that the better we will all be worldwide.
