I don't put these articles up here at all. My daughter programmed into my site counters that automatically put up articles by the number of people reading them that day or week or month. So, the top links are simply the most visited articles during that time.
Also, once something goes up there more and more people see these articles and visit them too if they are interested.
However, I don't have any control at this point regarding whatever is up at the top of the page that people are choosing to visit. It's all done automatically through HTML computer programming.
