That Speaker Mike Johnson is completely out of touch with the Average American is no debate at all. So, he is sort of a mild mannered Gaetz in this sense. He isn't the angry young Gaetz, he is instead very set in his ways and mild mannered in contrast to Gaetz even though he espouses in some ways a similar rhetoric.
So, it's possible we will get funding for the Ukraine war because he supports this and it's possible we will also get funding for the Israel-Hamas war too. However, at what cost?
It's likely that we will have a funded government in three weeks too. But, at what cost?
Also, he is a newbie Speaker and so likely has a lot to learn so it's also possible that he could be gone within one month too and we could then be back in some sort of crisis with the House of Representatives again with the government having problems of all kinds because of that too.
I don't think we will know the outcome really for at least 6 months time.
However, I think voters are pretty fed up with Republicans in general after this last debacle and likely have lost the House of Representatives in the next election because of this. This is likely a sure thing now.
