So, from one point of view this is what is actually happening to Gaza right now. So, 2 million people basically starving without water and even with the 20 trucks that went in there was only water enough for 22,000 people for one day. Then you have Hamas possibly having food stores and everyone else starving inside Gaza or dying of thirst. That Hamas isn't sharing their food or water does not win friends and influence the people of Gaza regarding being on their side.
All these things are considered by the Israeli Military and when people inside Gaza (mostly Hamas) are considered weak enough on many levels the Israeli Military will attack with tanks likely blowing down many more buildings. I have this vision (whether it is correct or not) of a line of 25 to 50 tanks all shooting out the first floor of buildings about a mile into Northern Gaza and making all these buildings fall without their bottom floors. But, when I think this through further i think "That doesn't make any sense because that would block all roads that the tanks would be driving in on. So, then I think "What are they going to do send Bulldozers in front of their tanks as they move into Northern Gaza.
Of course I'm not a General or a Colonel or a Major or something like that so this is just me as an armchair news watcher thinking all this through.
Then I'm imagining tunnels dug under Mosques by Hamas like the ones Israel blew up today under a Mosque in Gaza which likely destroyed partially or completely that mosque too.
Anyway you look at all this, Hamas destroyed peace in the Middle East likely for Years to come by killing so many Israelis and foreigners. So, unless Israel really makes a mess of Gaza this is going to happen soon or worse once again within the next few years.
However, my sense as an intuitive is that it's only 50-50 that Israel even exists 10 years from now.
In other words the severity of response to what was done by Hamas to actually stop it might also be a response that permanently ends Israel too in this day and age.
But, I also predict that Israel will never give up being a nation until it has nuked out of existence Gaza and Possibly Tehran, Iran too. So, Much worse than we have seen so far is likely to come during the next few years.
