It is interesting to me that this article from 2013 is the number 1 article right now. I would think something from 2017 when I was receiving over 100,000 hits from visitors a month that year would be more interesting. It never ceases to amaze me what articles are read the most at this site. Some articles make sense to me that people read again, again and again. However, this one has always sort of puzzled me because this means that I had had only 158,008 visits from 2007 until 2013 whereas now I have had likely around 10 million or more visits to this site. So, around 2011 when I began encouraging people to crowd source geiger counters in Japan after the Fukushima disaster was when my readership really took off. I wanted people in Japan and elsewhere to buy Geiger counters to check for themselves the radiation in Japan. My dentists Daughter was teaching English in Japan then and got Thyroid Cancer from the Fukushim meltdowns by the way then. However, she recovered and is okay now. So, there likely were many ill or dying people in Japan and possibly still are from that meltdown.
