But, I think thinking about AI as being an invention very similar to the motorized Airplane is useful.
Look at all the good and bad things Airplanes have done since 1903 at Kitty Hawk it might be like this where extremely good and extremely bad things are going to happen to the world from AI. This is a given.
Our job as people here on earth is to lessen the bad things that could happen and increase the good things that could happen. That's really all that we can do at this point.
