Pretty good Family Halloween movie whether or not you have seen it before (The house with a clock in it's walls(2018)
We watched this movie again tonight and enjoyed it again! I could identify with the boy in this movie because of how he was dressed and how he acted and the cars and how people are depicted in this movie. I would have been 7 years old in 1955 when it takes place so I saw things like he did a lot at age 7 except at age 7 I lived in Tujunga, California up against the Angeles National Forest then which went up as far as Mt. Wilson where all the big TV Transmitter stations were because this was basically before Cable TV in 1955. I remembered how scary the 1950s were on multiple levels. It's nice to be here in 2026 where at least my life isn't really scary anymore except for dealing with Health issues sometimes. But, I remember how crazy and scary in some ways the 1950s were worldwide then so I identified with this boy a lot with his parents gone. I saw many bad things happen in the 1950s to the boys I met then, especially from age 4 and beyond. I usually was okay because I was always very tall and about a head taller than most of the boys my age. So, I only had to worried about being beaten up or knifed or clubbed by boys more than several years older then me then. So, life was scary or very boring in the 1950s when I was a child. Either you were scared trying to stay alive or you were bored most of the time so it was usually one or the other.
