How?
If a person can pretend to be driving while not there 3 minutes to 30 minutes "What's to prevent a terrorist from stealing one of these vehicles and installing an "Autopilot Buddy" or other similar device, then weighting down the driver's seat so the car believes there is a person in the car, then filling the car with explosives?
That's right! There is likely nothing to prevent this eventually from happening that I know of right now!
Whether or not this can be done I don't think is the question you should be asking, "The question you should be asking is "How WILL this be done in the future to blow up city blocks around the world where no terrorist even has to die to do this and the same terrorist could repeat this 100s of times around the world until the world figures out a way to stop them.
The way they are doing it now is renting or stealing trucks or cars and just mowing people down for a mile or two down on a sidewalk various places around the world. So, when will a partially self driving vehicle be stolen to be used as a mobile self driving robotic bomb or nuke?
Have you ever seen dummies that look like real human beings sitting in passenger seats so people can drive illegally in the diamond lanes. Often these dummies might even fool policemen. What's to stop using a lifelike dummy in the driver's seat of a Tesla or other partially automated driving car that is actually a car with a dummy driver being operated as a self driving car or truck that is actually a bomb?
No terrorists would have to die in this bombing by the way. How are we going to prevent this?
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
