When I started studying Buddhism sometimes in my early 20s I would run across concepts way beyond earth to other planets and even other galaxies which I didn't find in Christianity.
One of the concepts I liked a lot was of the Male Vajrasattva and his female consort Nyema who are the highest Buddhas in the Physical plane of existence which would mean that they rule as Buddhas over all the Galaxies in the physical Universe. I always like this expasive view that Some Enlightened set of beings (a male and a Female )mated pair were watching over the entire physical universe.
And that they had vowed not to evolve into the formless realms until every single being in the physical universe was enlightened and free.
Somehow all these ideas I find very very comforting of a God and a Goddess watching out over all of us as like a Grandfather and a Grandmother of the physical universe waiting for all beings to become enlightened before they entered the formless realms.
To me, the formless realms would be what scientists Call Dark matter or more appropriately (Unknown Matter) where matter and time and space do not exist.
By God's Grace
PS if you want to invoke Vajrasattva it is:
"Om Vajrasattva Hung" if you are doing it in Sanskrit.
Tibetans do their version of it very fast as a mantra invoking Vajrasattva and Nyema.
Here are some things I found on line if you are interested:

Sep 17, 2016 - ”Om Vajra Sattva Hum” or ”Om Benza Satto Hung” (Tibetans pronounce Vajra sattva as Benza satva) is the short version of the 100 syllable mantra for purification.By the way, Vajrasattva means literally "Diamond or Lightning Vow" or the vow to wait for all sentient beings to become completely enlightened before evolving into the formless realms.
Also, Hung is Sanskrit and Hum is Tibetan.
