In the last two days I met two new cardiologists in addition to my specialist of several year now and learned a great deal that is useful to my long term survival

Thank God I have medicare so i can actually do this affordably. Because in my 40s I didn't have health insurance and knew something wasn't right with my heart and couldn't get any cardiologist to see me even if I died without insurance. So, unless you have health insurance from about 40 onward it is very very easy to die from heart problems or a stroke. By 46 I have had regular health insurance because most of my kids had grown up and were mostly out of college and getting degrees at that point. But, also by age 64 I was paying between 1400 and 1800 a month for full health care coverage too which most people cannot afford. Luckily, when I got a heart virus at age 50 I had health insurance and was married so I didn't die which I would have without health insurance and my present wife who is my medical advocate.

My father and grandfather basically didn't believe in going to a doctor or hospital unless you were dying and so to some degree because of this influence growing up I was sort of like this too and never had any immunizations except for a tetanus shot required by law when I was 15 because of being bitten by a dog in Glendale, California.

So, being around someone very medically knowledgeable with 2 bachelor's degrees and a master's degree is very helpful for all of us which is the primary reason I'm still alive today at 71 because my wife cares enough about me to help me stay alive.

Many men are like me who never went to doctors much in their lives by the way and often they all die in their 40s to 60s for the most part except for a few rare individuals who have amazing genetics who keep going without doctors for the most part.

But, most people are going to need medical care to even make it to 50. This is important for most people to know otherwise, especially men are going to be checking out by 35 to 50 in many many cases around the world. So, if you don't have medical insurance by 40 or 45 your chances of even seeing 50 or 60 become much less.

But, if you can survive to 65 and get on medicare then 90 or 100 or more is possible for most men and women if they make it to 65 and medicare.
