Ammunition buying Panic in U.S.

Gun owners across the U.S. are buying up Ammunition in a greater quantity than ever in history because they fear their right to own guns might be taken away from them during the present reaction here in the U.S. to the Newtown Massacre of 20 children and their teachers in Connecticut.

This is causing a problem for law enforcement throughout the Northeast and Southeast of the U.S. and so law enforcement is going into gun shops and buying ammunition directly off the shelves to stay stocked up for law enforcement because they cannot get it in bulk through the mail at lower rates right now. So, often bullet orders are 6 months to a year out right now back ordered by mail.

One of the many causes of this is many Gun owners are Republican and because a Democrat Obama has been re-elected many of them are panicking as well.  Also, Hurricane Sandy with 300,000 homes destroyed (see news article button below)

on the East Coast and them not being given financial relief adds to this panic among gun owners throughout the Eastern Coast of the U.S. both North and South. And the present weak though stable state of the U.S. economy adds to the panic of gun owners.

As far as I can see from the West Coast, this is much less of a problem to Californians than from People from the East Coast of the U.S. Maybe it is because we are further away from the cause of the problem in the first place. That likely is one of the causes.

The anomaly of Hurricane Sandy and the fact that everyone who doesn't believe in Global Warming now is being forced to with internally horrific results inside of them in confusion likely is another factor in all this.

Facts regarding the panic buying of ammunition, the 6 months wait and the problem law enforcement is having buying ammunition are from CNN TV today January 9th 2013.
