Most Widespread Flu in 10 years in U.S.

I'm looking at a map of the U.S. in relief from the CDC on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams on my DVR right now. Looking at it the only  states I can easily pick out not having this outbreak so far are California, Arizona, Arkansas, North Dakota, Montana, Oregon, Hawaii and Washington State. These states are the only ones so far not having a very serious flu epidemic that I can pick out on the CDC map. They were mentioning a hospital in Pennsylvania where there are so many patients that need hospitalization that they are erecting insulated heated types of tents for people in the parking lots because of the overflow of patients to some hospitals. So, I worry since this is only the beginning of flu season if we are in the beginning of a very serious flu epidemic that might go pandemic this year.

7 hospitals in Chicago are diverting patients to other hospitals entirely. This is happening in New York City as well already this early in the flu season.
