Jerusalem Post | - |

therefore they are looking to cancel Lebanon's parliamentary elections
and cause security instability in Tripoli, Sidon and other ...
If this happens this could collapse the Lebanese Government and bog the Lebanese and Israeli Army down in a Land war. This could be a problem for the whole world. What is disturbing to me the most about the whole Syrian thing is that it reminds me a lot of how World War I started in some ways. If this Sectarian War between Sunnis and Shias expands into Lebanon and Iraq this could get even more nasty than it already is. This type of conflict seems to leave only barren wastes of cities looking like European cities during World War II with basically nothing left.
