    The basic idea is to install a chip which can do the following:
    1. Check your vitals
    2. Prevent concussions
    3. track your medicine
    4. improve your athletic performance
    5. Nurse your wounds
    6. Keep you skin healthy
     
    All this is from page 42 of  the March 25th 2013 Time magazine.

    My only concern is the same one I have for all electronic surveillance techniques. Who is going to have access to this information? All types of electronic surveillance can be used for all sorts of purposes by governments, corporations and by unscrupulous individuals around the world. Do we really want unlimited intrusions regarding our health, thoughts, actions in a completely unlimited way? This only reduces any freedom of thought or actions more until we would be no different than the slaves of old around the world a couple of centuries back. The consequences of all types of electronic surveillance need to be considered or we slowly peter away our rights to even exist over time.
