Wild Green Parrots of California?

I was listening to happy parrot Screeches this morning and asked my wife, "Do you know what that is?". She said, "I was wondering what bird was making those sounds?" I said, "My cousin pointed them out to me last time I was visiting down here and sailing with him. They are Big Green Parrots gone wild. There are somewhere between 50 and 100 of them and the flock is growing every year now." She was pretty amazed that there were wild parrots anywhere in California. I said, "There must have originally been 2 mated parrots and now there is a whole flock here in Orange County, California. As I finish writing this my wife slid the sliding glass door open to our bedroom on the 2nd story that opens to our veranda, we could hear more sounds that happy wild parrots make.
