Sun Flips Poles during weakening Magnetosphere on Earth?

I was reading the previous article that I quoted here at my blog and they were talking about how the sun's poles flip every 11 years. However, 11 years ago there were not holes in the Magnetosphere of earth the way they are now and our magnetosphere wasn't as weak as now either. So, what effect will this have within the next 6 months? Also, much more is known about the sun because so much research has been done the last 11 years since the last 11 year cycle ended and a new one began. However, there is still much that is unknown. For example, why is the north magnetic pole already moving elsewhere in the sun without the south pole moving too? This question and many many others likely could affect the quality and quantity of life on earth. What effect does all this have on the genetics (the DNA) of all living things on earth? These are all questions (and many more) that many would like the answer too. But, I guess for most things we will just have to wait and see what happens to various forms of life on earth during the next 10 or 20 years to find out. But, we may not understand the causes behind the changes of life on earth because there might be no way to correlate the causes to the actual effects in the short and long term because we as humans don't have enough information to understand enough about all this yet.

And also, sometimes ignorance is bliss. For humans, many times not knowing saves us a lot of grief compared to how we would feel if we actually understood all this better. So, as usual the best answer is: Time will Tell.
