I was watching a Naked and Afraid:Uncensored from last week with a friend and his girlfriend visiting from Southern California and he said to me, "I couldn't do that? Could you?" My response was In my 30s I would have been good at that. But not now."
Because you have to learn enough about survival to understand a whole lot of things about it. For example, about 1 to 3 days for most people without food or a good water source and they would be halucinating so hard at night that they might run screaming into the jungles and have to be rescued. Often the kinds of experiences people sometimes take drugs to experience they could experience in a much safer way if they just didn't eat anything at all for one to 3 days and then turned there lights out in the house or out camping. However, if you aren't familiar with what actually happens to you when you don't eat or drink water under any conditions for 2 days or more. You have to be prepared for a whole lot of unusual perceptions both internal, external and everywhere in between that you actually might have never experienced before. And if your reality is fragile you might not survive this experience if not in a familiar enough environment in order to come out the other side of it.
I would say for a really healthy person not eating or drinking water for 96 hours while praying in the wilderness somewhere you won't be bothered by anyone might tell you more about yourself than anything you have ever previously experienced. However, it is not for the faint of heart because parts of the Halucinations caused from not eating or drinking water you have to be grown up enough to survive in the first place.
So, really knowing yourself inside and out is sort of necessary before doing something like this because it will totally rearrange your reality in various ways. And you will have a lot more sympathy for everyone who doesn't have any good food or water to eat worldwide. Which maybe is a very good thing for your conscience.
I started out in life as knowing what other people were thinking when I was 2 or younger. When I started to realize not everyone did this it sort of scared me by the time I was 5 because I wondered why people didn't always develop in this direction. Over time I realized that their parents had conditioned them not to believe in telepathy and seeing angels and spirits and so their abilities tended to wither in some ways. However, in my family I was encouraged to use all my gifts because they were considered necessary to long term spiritual and physical survival (which they are).
For example, how many 200 IQ people have you known that didn't have enough common sense not to drive their new Ferraris 200 miles per hour and soon were dead? Or something like this.
Brainiacs are only useful to themselves or others if they have some common sense too. So, my point of view is that if you can sense danger before it arrives and kills you or your family so much the better.
So, sometimes up to 50 or 100 feet away I can sense people who are really people you don't even want to talk to. What I find really strange is that most of the people you really don't want in your lives are not homeless people. Homeless people usually either got fired from their jobs, got kicked out of their homes or a relationship and just weren't able to recover or became alcoholics or had other problems. But, often most of these people are actually okay up to a certain point even though mostly I don't want to invite them into my home and have them steal from me because they are just trying to survive. Because then I would have to have them arrested which wouldn't be good for me or for them. But, most homeless people are usually pretty good people going through hard times.
I had a short time going through something bad myself in my last marriage where all we had left was an 82 chevy window van, all our home furniture and belongings in storage and it was like this for a few months until we got into another house to rent. Things have been financially great now since about 1995 but most everyone has tough times they hit for one reason or another sometimes. So, most people who don't have an apartment or home are just in that state temporarily until they figure some way forward.
However, I always sort of knew what people were thinking. One of the best things that happened to me regarding all this was when I started to meet Tibetan Lamas. And there point of view was something like "Don't scare people to death with your supernatural abilities just because you can."
I found this very helpful so I still would use my gifts but always be very careful after that not to scare people by accident because I'm already 6 foot 5 inches tall and even though I'm a very polite and gentlemanly man it doesn't take much to scare most people I find. And my training with the Tibetan Lamas was very helpful.
They told me that I needed to learn to protect people from gaining karma against me. At first I said, "How do I do that?" Their answer was something like, "You'll figure it out." And I did. But, this is a very sophisticated view of reality. The other point of view is that you must not let other people kill you or injure you either physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually.
So, if one is gifted it is important at some point not to allow people to harm you in any way up close or at a distance. Because if they succeed and you have protectors you protectors (Spiritual Guardians like Archangel Michael or others) might have no choice but to take those people out of embodiment. And you don't want to put Archangel Michael in this kind of situation unless you are a little child who doesn't know how to protect themselves on any level at all. Then Michael might make someone harming a child just fall down the stairs one day and then that would be it for that person, especially if that child needed to grow up to be a President Abraham Lincoln or a Pope Francis or someone like that.
