I'm repeating this concept because I think it is both logical and important. Putin wants bad sanctions on his country because it will completely dis empower any Russian Democratic Capitalists in Russia. It will also dis empower any European or American or other capitalists around the world including in China who have invested in any way in the Russian economy.
The reason he wants this is that would weaken capitalists who are his main enemies in Russia and around the world to re-creating a Soviet Union without a democratic Russia and without a Capitalistic Russia. Because he believes his destiny is to bring back the Soviet Union to all it's greatness.
And my question might be: "Why should we help him do that?"
Because I don't think he really cares at this point about Ukraine or any other country. It's all a trick to return the old Soviet Union WITHOUT Democracy and WITHOUT capitalism. However, in the meantime he might take all of Europe while destroying capitalism and democracy in Russia.
Without eventually nuking Russia there likely is no way to deal with all this at present. At least for now. And that is the real problem.
