Pilgrim Creek Rd. on the McCloud Side of Mt. Shasta

This is what Mt. Shasta looked like in June on the Mt. Shasta city side:

However, because this side of the mountain gets the afternoon sun, this is what it looks like as of 1 week ago:
So, basically, the glaciers on the Mt. Shasta City side of the mountain likely melted off several years ago now because of the drought. However, on the other side many glaciers are left there because they don't get the afternoon sun. However, all new snow of the last few years has melted likely now and the glaciers unprotected are getting direct sun in the mornings. So, one broke off and cascaded mud, rocks and pieces of glacier along with water on down the mountain. As far as anyone know no one died in this who was climbing around on that side of the mountain. Of course, people will have to look for abandoned cars or trucks to see if people are all accounted for in this area because the weather was nice and people might have gotten hurt or killed in this area because it is very beautiful and remote there.

When I put "Glaciers near Mud Creek on Mt. Shasta this is what I got:

And likely bushes and trees and everything else will be mixed into this debris field too blocking water flow and damming it up unless bulldozers or earth movers of some kind are being used presently to clear it.

Also, I spoke to my friend out there and he and his dog are okay and so is his property and home.
