Unfortunately, the answer might be "Yes". This is what I'm thinking.
This is one of the problems they are having in Africa because even people picking up dead Ebola bodies can become infected with Ebola if they are not properly protect. So, every time someone falls down and dies in the streets from Ebola, if someone doesn't know it's Ebola and not just a dead drunk or something like that they are going to get Ebola too.
Many viruses cannot be spread after death but Ebola isn't one of those.
Another question I think I have the answer to.
What if a Dog or other animal was rubbing up against a dead or alive Ebola sufferer? Can that dog transmit that Ebola from the dead person to it's owner or others that don't know what that dog was doing?
A natural behavior of a dog is to roll in a carcass of something dead to mask it's scent for hunting. This way whatever it is hunting thinks what it's smelling is dead.
Likely the answer is "Yes" to this as well.
These above instances are another way this Ebola likely is spreading throughout Africa right now as well.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
