It's really beautiful today with mostly full sun. We watched Vancouver Island and the Olympic Mountains and Mt. Baker and I believe Mt. Rainier and as we passed over the Columbia River I spied Mt. Hood where I have skied many times with my older daughter who is now 25. We used to ski together. Now she and her boyfriend are both expert snowboarders while I still ski along with them.
Most years Mt. Hood near Portland and Whistler in Canada north of Vancouver have year around Skiing. There aren't too many places that can say this in North America unless you are in Alaska or something like that.
From my window seat on the right in First Class I can see the beaches of the Northern Oregon coast as we fly south towards California and San Francisco where we should land now within 45 minutes or so or less.
It's supposed to rain sometime Tuesday and Wednesday in California around the SF Bay area. The temperatures didn't get above about 45 degrees in Seattle and into the high 20s at night so I'll be glad to get back to 68 degrees to 75 degrees when we land today in San Francisco. The Valets that brought our rental car to us in Seattle were sort of jealous to think I was going to be in 70 degrees or more today. They were trying to stay warm by staying just inside the hotel glass doors when we checked out this morning in Seattle.

Is a nice indoor mall with shopping and restaurants and a Barnes and Noble Bookstore also there. We ate at a nice place called something like Il Fornaio or something like that last night. We were able to park our rental car underneath this indoor mall too. And an indoor mall sure is nice when it's 30 degrees outside Fahrenheit.
